The Good time

In the morning, my wife and I were discussing the request for help we had received from someone and the question that came up was if it was the right time given that we are still not totally out of the pandemic and we still don't know for sure how the economic situation will be like in the days and months to come.

And then what came out were the following:

The right time to do what is right is right now.

The good time to do what is good is right now.

Now is the time to do what is right and what is good.

You cannot wait forever for everything to fall in place before you decide to do something good and right with your life.

It starts now with whatever good and right is available with you.

Now is the time that is good enough to do what is good and right.

I have had many enduring love affairs in my life. They are of nature, stories, books, deep meaningful conversations, food, travel, silent retreats, movies, music and trains. Some journeys are meant to be taken alone

This story is from a time when I was still an ardent follower of one of the gurus from India. For various reasons, I could never get around to sharing this story. A plastic surgery that I wish I had

The late Mr. ‘KTC’ Abdullah was a great actor and I loved him in his movie - Sudani from Nigeria. This is a scene from that film with a master class in acting where he tells Samuel from Nigeria that he is Majeed’s father. After a pause, he repeats in a whisper - Father.
